E. E. Cummings

Για τους ενασχολούμενους με ιδιαίτερη αγάπη με την ποίηση, είναι γνωστό ότι ο Χάρης Βλαβιανός έχει μεταφράσει στίχους του e.e.cummings (ο ίδιος ο ποιητής είχε εκφράσει την επιθυμία να γράφονται όλα τα γράμματα με πεζά), από τις εκδόσεις Νεφέλη με τίτλο "33Χ3Χ33". Είναι αλήθεια ότι ο Αμερικανός Edward Estlin Cummings (14 Οκτωβρίου 1894 –3 Σεπτεμβρίου 1962), γνωστότερος ως E. E. Cummings, ήταν ποιητής, ζωγράφος, δοκιμιογράφος, και θεατρικός συγγραφέας. Έγραψε περισσότερα από 900 ποιήματα, αρκετά θεατρικά έργα και δοκίμια, δυο νουβέλες και φυσικά άφησε πολλούς ζωγραφικούς πίνακες. Μπορεί να θεωρηθεί ως ένας από τους πλέον ερωτικούς ποιητές του αιώνα. Κι όσοι γνωρίζουν (μάλλον... όλοι) αγγλικά, ιδού και στίχοι του e.e.cummings:
